Our first year has been full of incredible moments, so we just wanted to make a moment to reflect and give thanks.
There have been many lessons learned over the past twelve months. It wouldn’t be us if we didn’t keep this creative and, as we share our birthday with Halloween, here’s what we advise to anybody starting out in a spooky style:
- Sometimes hauntings aren’t all that bad, ghosts from your past can be friendly and often want to help.
- Gremlins will get into anything and cause technical issues, no matter how hard you try and avoid it. Just stay calm and don’t feed them after midnight.
- People can get stressed. If they need to rant or take it out on you, let them. If they turn green and their heads start turning at 360 degrees, call an exorcist.
- When you’re woken up by strange noises, it’s not a monster under your bed. You just fell asleep working late again and are still adjusting to your work phone’s ringtone.
Of course, we would be nowhere if it wasn’t for significant people who have stood by us and taken a chance on us as a new business. On our first birthday, we’re raising our glass to our clients, old and new, and to those who have recommended us, cheered us on and called to check in and mentor us along the way.
We would be nothing without the people we work with. We are eternally grateful for each one of you.
