On 31st October three years ago, Sock and Buskin Marketing and PR crept into the world. What started as one slightly spooky idea has grown into three years of storytelling, content creation, media coverage, client celebrations, photoshoots, website launches, social media campaigns and more cups of coffee than would be considered a healthy amount – but that’s a problem for another day!

Thankfully, unlike many things associated with Halloween, Sock and Buskin has shown no signs of disappearing into the night…in fact, it’s grown beyond anything we could have imagined! Over the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of working with incredible businesses, helping them share their stories, celebrate their successes and connect with the audiences that matter most. From award wins and event launches to website content, PR campaigns and everything in between, every project has reminded us why we started this journey in the first place. While marketing tools, platforms and trends may come and go like the occasional friendly ghost, one thing has remained constant and that’s the genuine connection we have with our clients and the joy we feel getting to work with them each day.
Over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to work with event professionals, business owners, consultants, creatives, charities and growing organisations from a huge variety of sectors. Every one of them has brought something unique to the story, and we’re endlessly grateful to be a small part of theirs.
Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without a little reflection. In the last three years we’ve:
- Helped businesses find their voice.
- Shared success stories that deserve the spotlight.
- Captured the personalities behind some fantastic brands.
- Celebrated award wins and major milestones.
- Written enough words to make several dictionaries nervous.
We’re proud of everything that’s been achieved so far, but we’re even more excited about what’s still to come. So, as we blow out the candles on our third birthday cake (carefully, because of all the theatrical costumes nearby) from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the people who trust us with their brands, invite us into their businesses and who cheer us on, recommend us to others and return to us time and time again. Simply put, there would be no Sock and Buskin without you. You’ve made these three years an absolute treat.
Now, let’s get back to it and focus on the many more stories there are to tell, milestones yet to celebrate and incredible businesses yet to champion.

P.S. Thanks to Mathias Falcone for these fabulous shots of Laura being Laura captured recently in London!
