A couple of weeks ago, we spent the day with the team at Click EMS capturing fresh brand photography across Birmingham.
Of course, there were plenty of photographs taken. There was also a healthy amount of walking, a whistle-stop tour of the city and some great conversations along the way but, as with every branding shoot we undertake with clients, the real focus wasn’t the camera – it was the people.
With first impressions being increasingly made online, professional imagery has become a vital part of any brand’s marketing toolkit. Yet one of the biggest mistakes businesses make is focusing solely on products, services or corporate messaging while forgetting the very thing that often sets them apart from their competitors – their team. People being what makes the business special couldn’t be any truer than with Click EMS.
While their expertise, technology and service offering are undoubtedly important, one of their greatest strengths is the team behind the business. The knowledge, dedication and personality they bring to every client relationship is what makes the company stand out and it’s exactly what we wanted to capture through this latest shoot.

Refreshing brand imagery isn’t simply about replacing an outdated photo on a website, it’s about ensuring a business presents itself authentically, consistently and confidently across every platform. When prospective customers visit your website, scroll through your social media channels or read a news article featuring your company, they want to see the people behind the brand and understand who they’re working with, getting a sense of the culture, values and personality that make a business unique.
That’s why we always encourage clients to think beyond standard headshots and embrace imagery that showcases real interactions, genuine collaboration and everyday moments within the business.
Our day in Birmingham gave us the perfect opportunity to do exactly that, rather than relying entirely on staged photographs, we focused on capturing the team in a way that reflects who they are and how they work. The result is a collection of images that feel natural, approachable and representative of the people clients will actually meet when working with Click EMS. Ultimately, that’s what builds trust, customers don’t connect with logos – they connect with people. Many businesses spend a lot of time talking about what they do, far fewer spend enough time showing who they are.
For Click, their team is one of their biggest strengths. The expertise within the business, the relationships they build and the support they provide clients every day are what truly make them stand out. Or, as we’ve found ourselves saying after our latest shoot:
The team make them Click.

As marketers, we’re always looking for ways to help our clients tell their stories more effectively. Sometimes that means crafting the perfect piece of content, other times it’s securing media coverage and, on some occasions, it’s simply putting the right people in front of the camera.
A strong library of professional, authentic brand photography can be one of the most valuable marketing assets a business invests in, helping audiences connect with the people behind the brand long before the first conversation takes place.
We loved having another opportunity to capture the faces behind Click EMS and to show the personalities and professionalism behind the business…and, yes, the Birmingham tour wasn’t bad either!
